Get Ready for 2025

What an incredible week we enjoyed aboard the Norwegian Pearl in 2024, celebrating the music of our lifetime! On behalf of the entire OTBC Team, we thank all of our 2024 guests as well as our wonderful artists and crew that made this such a special journey! READY FOR AN ENCORE in 2025?

We are thrilled to share our excitement about the upcoming 2025 On the Blue Cruise! Get ready for an epic 7-night Canada/New England Journey, departing Boston, MA, August 22-29, 2025 aboard the Norwegian Gem! We will once again be reuniting with our wonderful fans, plus new and returning artists. Be prepared for another epic cruise adventure, revisiting our youth and the joy of the World’s Greatest Rock Music!

Our journey takes us to some of the most sought after destinations on the East Coast and into Canada including Boston, Halifax and Sydney in Nova Scotia, Saint John in New Brunswick, and finally Portland, Maine.

In addition to these great ports we will also have two music filled days at sea which will give you plenty of time to relax and hang with fellow cruisers and artists without feeling rushed to get it all in!

Many of you enjoyed sailing with us this year aboard the Norwegian Pearl and were excited to learn we will be on the Pearl's sister ship in 2025, the Norwegian Gem. Refurbished in 2022, the Gem is truly a beauty and the perfect home for the 2025 On the Blue Cruise.

Each and every one of the Norwegian Gem's staterooms were updated in this dry dock modernization. All staterooms feature a refreshed look with cool blue hues reminiscent of the calming ocean with silver and turquoise accents, new furniture, new carpeting, new headboards, new televisions as well as the addition of USB outlets where guests can charge their handheld devices.

The Norwegian Gem features a stellar pool deck allowing us to transform this space into our Outdoor Concert Stage where guests will bask in the sun while watching the incredible bands on board. This outdoor stage, along with the additional venues throughout this magnificent ship makes it a fantastic choice for artists and fans aboard On the Blue Cruise.

Who's Performing?

Leading the way, Justin Hayward, the Voice of the Moody Blues, returns with an All-Star lineup featuring Iconic Classic Rock stars from music’s greatest generation. Justin will be performing classics from his solo catalog plus many of your favorites from The Moody Blues. In addition, get up close and personal for an intimate Q&A with Justin, providing insight into the career and music of this true Rock Superstar.

Our lineup year after year rivals any other Classic Rock festival, land or sea and 2025 will not disappoint. Expect some big announcements over the coming weeks via Facebook and email. We will deliver all the great events and production that sets our cruises apart from the rest and with the new destinations and extended itinerary, this is going to be a cruise to remember!

Our most recent Alumni from the 2024 OTBC will have first priority booking, followed by all past OTBC Alumni. Alumni will be given the best cabins (available in each category at time of booking) and priority for seating in the Main Theater for selected performances.
