Save the Date for 2020!

We are pleased to announce that the amazing On the Blue Cruise will be back in 2020! It will be an exciting one, featuring the return of your cruise host, Justin Hayward, as well as many of your favorites. And of course, expect the addition of new bands that always provide a fresh and exciting boost to our Classic Rock entertainment. BAND ANNOUNCEMENTS WILL BEGIN IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS SO STAY TUNED…WE CAN’T WAIT TO SHARE!

Sailing from Miami April 1-8, 2020, On the Blue Cruise will visit Philipsburg, St. Maarten and St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Island, arguably two of the finest ports in the Caribbean! Plus we will be visiting Norwegian Cruise Line’s private island, Great Stirrup Cay, including an “island refresh” update that will be completed prior to our visit.

In addition to these great new ports, we will also have THREE music filled days at sea! Now you will have more time to hang with fellow cruisers and artists without feeling rushed to get it all in!

Yes, you read that correctly! In 2020, we sail together for SEVEN (7) days, to the Eastern Caribbean with three brand new ports! In addition, we are pleased to announce our return to PortMiami and the Norwegian Pearl!

THE SHIP

NORWEGIAN PEARL

Some of our past Moody Blues Cruise passengers will remember the Norwegian Pearl. Since our last journey aboard her, the Pearl has undergone an extensive makeover…she’s more beautiful than ever!

Each and every one of the Norwegian Pearl’s staterooms were updated in this dry dock modernization. All staterooms feature a refreshed look with cool blue hues reminiscent of the calming ocean with silver and turquoise accents, new furniture, new carpeting, new headboards, new televisions as well as the addition of USB outlets where guests can charge their handheld devices.

Norwegian Pearl’s famed pool deck with Concert Stage, where guests congregate to bask in the sun while watching incredible bands and performers, now features fresh flooring, refurbished whirlpools and a clean new contemporary look. All restaurants and bars also received a makeover bringing the overall look similar to the newest NCL vessels in the fleet.

ST. MAARTEN

The stunning island of St. Maarten may be our favorite spot in the Caribbean, melding French and Dutch cultures into a true island paradise. On the Blue Cruise guests can experience amazing excursions and tours on this beautiful island where there is always something fun and entertaining happening. Learn the history, relax on the beach, check out a casino in the south region, shop duty-free or enjoy delicious cuisine with friendly locals. No matter what you do, you will enjoy the warmth and vibrant island of St. Maarten!

ST. THOMAS

As the Norwegian Pearl docks in the town of Charlotte Amalie, you will be welcomed by the spectacular and sprawling landscape of sea, mountains, lush valleys and beautiful beaches. Our On the Blue Cruise guests will find it appeals to both those seeking adventure and those looking for some peaceful relaxation. St. Thomas packs a punch, with rich history and culture, bountiful duty-free shopping, delicious cuisine and picture-perfect beaches. We can’t wait for you to experience this top-rated Caribbean paradise!

GREAT STIRRUP CAY

Welcome to Great Stirrup Cay, NCL’s Private Island in the Bahamas! Located in the Berry Island chain of the Bahamas, this 250-acre island is absolute paradise. Lined with coconut palm trees, white sand beaches and water so crystal clear that it will take your breath away – you may never want to leave. Whether you choose to relax on the beach with your favorite cocktail and a delicious taco at the new complimentary Abaco Taco restaurant, snorkel with sea turtles or attempt paddle boarding for the first time, Great Stirrup Cay will be a day in the Bahamas you will always remember.

All past passengers (from either our inaugural On the Blue Cruise or other past cruises) will have the opportunity to book their stateroom during one of two Alumni Pre-Sales. Alumni will be given the best cabins (available in each category at time of booking) and priority for seating in the Main Theatre for selected performances, including Justin Hayward and more! THIS YEAR WE WILL EXPAND ASSIGNED SEATING TO MINIMIZE LINES AND WAIT TIME!

CRUISE BACK-TO-BACK

Many of our On the Blue Cruise friends enjoyed our sister cruise, Cruise to the Edge, sailing back-to-back on a 10-day musical adventure earlier this year. 2020 will be even better as both cruises will be aboard the Norwegian Pearl with no break in between. While On the Blue Cruise will feature an exciting new Eastern Caribbean itinerary, Cruise to the Edge will be sailing March 27 – April 1, 2020 to the Western Caribbean for 5 nights, visiting Harvest Cay, Belize, and Roatan, Honduras.

This will make for a very unique 12-night cruise experience providing a diverse “sampler” of cultures and amazing music!

Please note that On the Blue Cruise Alumni will have the opportunity to Pre-Book Cruise to the Edge beginning on Wednesday, April 17th. If you plan to attend both cruises (Back-to-Back), please follow the instructions below:

Book your cabin for On the Blue Cruise as instructed above.
When booking your On the Blue Cruise reservation, indicate “YES” you will be sailing back-to-back, when prompted.
Once you receive the email with your personalized booking link for Cruise to the Edge, book your stateroom right away.
When booking your Cruise to the Edge reservation, indicate that you have booked your On the Blue Cruise reservation as well and submit your confirmation number when prompted.
After your bookings have been verified, your back-to-back discount will be applied.
