June Update

As you know, we have been in a holding pattern as we maneuver through this unprecedented situation which continues to impact people here in the United States and around the globe. Over the last two months, we have been negotiating with several cruise lines, looking at every possible scenario to ensure our passengers are kept safe while having the best possible cruise experience. We have also been in contact with our artists to discuss the rescheduled sailing in order to provide you with a great lineup and programming.

Our analysis has focused on information regarding virus spread, anticipated therapies, as well as expected vaccine availability – all of which will shape corresponding CDC and Cruise Line protocols. We are evaluating all the available data in order to back into a timeframe to sail that is reasonable, yet prudent. The last thing we want to do is reschedule the cruise prematurely and attempt to sail before it’s safe to do so.

Therefore, we are comfortable and confident that we can make a preliminary announcement with dates, ports of call, and ship just after the July 4th holiday. We understand that this has taken more time than initially anticipated and thank you for being patient during this complex process.

In addition to the rescheduled cruise details, we will provide information on the procedures for guests to confirm their cabin on the new sailing, as well as a Frequently Asked Questions section to help answer some of the additional questions that will surely arise with the announcement.

Finally, we know and completely understand that it has, and remains, difficult to be patient during this uncertain time. However, we must complete our due diligence to make sure that we are making the best choice for our guests, artists, and staff. We look forward to getting back to the music and incomparable cruise experience that is missed by all!

Thank you,

Your On the Blue Cruise Team
